Book Tribe

Group Leader: Raquel Cerveny

For all you booktribe members, a THANK YOU, for taking time to respond to the Survey Monkey. Valerie and I will be picking books in the coming weeks based on your preferences and I will be putting you into tribes shortly. I most likely will have several tribes populated and books available for pick-up at the first meeting. For those wanting to join for the first time, we will do everything to include all who want in on this fun reading circle - the price is usually about $32, and this price lets you read a broad array of titles, and keep one at the end of the circle.

Looking forward to seeing you all next month- stay tough, I know this heat is tiring!

Best wishes,

Raquel Cerveny

So much interest with Pickle Ball at NFC! PB lines were painted on the sport court this summer and the new NFWC net donated in May has had lots of play time. The NFWC Pickle Ball special interest group will resume weekly play in September on Tuesday mornings from 8:30-10:30 (9:00-11:00 when it cools down) . Sign-ups will be weekly via Sign-up Genius, managed by Betsy Barton who has agreed to lead the group. Let Betsy know if you are interested in playing and she'll add you to the distribution list (your 2022-23 NFWC membership dues must be current).

For ladies who are NFC and NFWC members, the NFWC net is in a black storage box between pool slide and sport court; the code is 2023. You'll need to book the court via Skedda, the club's reservation system. NF Tennis Pro Keith Burford 713/240-2424 and past NF Tennis Pro Pierre Turmel 281/935-1906 have upped their game and are available for lessons as well.
